Class Cutz offers a fully insured, professional dog grooming service for most breeds.
Each dog is different. With this in mind the individual requirements of each dog are discussed and agreed upon before the owner leaves the dog at the salon.
Whilst attending the salon a dog remains in the care of Rowena and benefits from one to one service. Multiple dogs are not accommodated unless they come from the same household.
Services available include brushing, combing, knot removal, dematting (if appropriate), ear cleaning and clearing of hair, nail trimming, attention to anal sacs as required, bathing and
coat conditioning, drying, styling, including scissoring, clipping and hand stripping.
Please note that, whilst all breeds and cross breeds are catered for, all sizes of poodle are a speciality.
Rowena has been closely involved with dogs from very early childhood. She is a standard and miniature poodle enthusiast, exhibitor and trainer and enjoys participating in various canine activities, including breed showing, agility competitions, obedience and even canine acting and modelling.
In addition to her non canine related qualifications, which include a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music (first class), Rowena holds the level 3 (advanced) City & Guilds in dog grooming, as well as the Animal Care College level 3 (advanced) Dog Breeding Diploma; both of which she passed with distinction.
Rowena continues to work to improve her depth of knowledge in the vast array of subject areas relating to her four legged friends. Her most recent project has seen Rowena involved in the enlightening study of canine massage with the Institute of Complimentary Animal Therapies.
