Basic Dog grooming prices

To include a full brush and comb out, minor matt removal, ear cleaning & clearing, nail trimming, anal gland checking/clearing, a bath in a quality shampoo, coat conditioner (if necessary), drying, hand stripping or clipping, scissoring and styling to the owner's requirements.

Small Breeds (up to 10Kgs) £20-£30

 
Examples include West Highland White Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Shih Tzu, Toy or Miniature Poodle, Miniature Schnauzer, Bichon Frise.

Medium sized Breeds (10-20Kgs) £30-£35

Examples include Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, Standard Schnauzer and Tibetan Terrier.

Large sized Breeds (20-30Kgs) £35-£45

Examples include Airedale, Bearded Collie, Golden Retriever, Irish Setter & Standard Poodle.

Giant sized Breeds (Over 30Kgs) From £45

Examples include St.Bernard, Leonberger, Irish Wolfhound and Newfoundland.
Please note that Giant breeds vary enormously in the amount of work required and are therefore quoted individually.

Bath & Dry only

For short-haired breeds such as Dachshunds and Labradors or as a top up in between the normal grooming cycle for longer haired fully groomed breeds.
Priced depending on requirements; approximately half of the full grooming price for the breed size as above.

Puppy introductions (Up to 4 months old)

To get your new puppy used to the idea of grooming at an early age and normally involves just a bath, dry, tidy up and familiarisation with the grooming environment. Priced depending on requirements; approximately half the full grooming price for the breed size.

Excess Matt removal £25 / hour

Minor matt removal is included in the basic grooming price. Excess matting (where more than approximately 15% of the coat is severely matted) is charged extra as above.

Nails, Ears & Anal Glands

Ear cleaning, nail trimming & anal glands are included in the basic grooming price and cost £2.50 each if carried out on their own without grooming.
